Today’s the day! Keep your eyes peeled for Door 796. We’re shaking things up with our weekly prizes. The winner will receive 5 Paradise123 doors. This includes a door of their choice plus all of the doors published on the contest day!

While we’re considering reintroducing cash prizes in the future, there are some legal complexities we’re not able to tackle at the moment. This change, however, opens the competition to participants of all ages. Help us spread the word! The riddles have become tougher, attracting mostly top-level players. We’ve seen a drop in beginner participants. Our goal is to draw in more skilled players and boost the trading of Paradise123 doors. Know someone who might be interested? Please, share with them!

The Door 752 Master Riddle has finally been solved by none other than Max W! Max wins $22.22, Door 752, Door 774, and has selected Door # 3 and Door #4.

We will post the answer trail on Door 752 shortly. It would appear that most were tripped up at the star of the riddle,

“In a world where laughter reigns, I stand tall with elastic grace. A silent guardian of joy, yet never silent at all. I’ve faced truths with a rubber face, and solved mysteries without a trace. In a realm of fiction, I am king, yet no crown do I wear, just the smiles I bring. Who am I?”

The answer to the first part of the riddle is, Jim Carrey. If a player did not solve the beginning it would be almost impossible to solve the entire riddle. When a week went by without receiving a correct answer we added this line, “With roles that bend reality’s lines, I’m a master of disguise, in laughter and cries.” This would have helped to at least narrow it down to an actor who has been quoted on Paradise123.

From what we can tell Max did figure out it was Jim Carrey early on, before we released the additional line the following week. He also pinpointed the correct point (11:11) in the correct video below.

Shortly after 11:11 Jim Carrey discusses an event that happened when he was 12 years old. Max took that as a clue and went on to Door 12 which was a diversion and led to a dead end.

Some point later on he went back to the video and continued past the reference to being 12 years old. Jim Carrey then shares the story that is an exact quote featured in Door 720. The final answer and hidden symbol can be found in Door 720. A four leaf clover (14 characters). Do you see it? Thanks for playing and good luck to all next week!

Max W pulls off another win! Door 707 The correct answer was submitted in just under an hour. We also had another player (JP) submit the correct answer minutes later. It was so close we are sending JP a surprise door to add to his collection.

** Error on Contest 607 **

Unfortunately, there was an error on the 607 contest door and we deeply apologize for this oversight. For those of you who made it to the “Order Here” sign in the picture, the instructions were to count the words (2). However, the instructions should have been to count the letters (9). So, you should have been looking for a purple door that ended with 9. The riddle was reviewed several times over, but we missed it. The riddles are created by humans, so this is always a possibility. Going forward, we will be even more meticulous!

You are probably wondering how someone won. Andrew R. actually considered the possibility that there could be an error and tried counting the letters instead, thus arriving at the correct answer. He then pointed out the error to us after winning. So, a well deserved congratulations to Andrew who now has 3 wins in a row! Andrew wins $22.22, Door 607 and selected Door 553.
